Werte werden nicht mehr in klassischen Büros geschaffen. Wertschöpfung findet statt an unterschiedlichen Orten, zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten, in wechselnden Teamkonstellationen und ohne Festanstellung. Diese neue Art der Arbeit sucht ständig nach neuen realen und virtuellen Orten. Benötigt werden offene, digital vernetzte und kollaborative Arbeitsorte, die flexibel sind und als Inkubationsplattform für Netzwerk, Innovation und Produktion dienen.
Das betahaus ist so ein Arbeitsraum. Es ist eine Plattform, die den Ansprüchen von unabhängigen Kreativen und Wissensarbeitern gerecht wird und ihre Möglichkeiten erweitert. In einer Mischung aus entspannter Kaffeehaus-Atmosphäre und konzentriertem Arbeitsumfeld legen wir Raum zwischen Arbeit und Privatsphäre an, in der Innovation und Kreativität gefördert wird.
Das erste betahaus wurde in Berlin eröffnet (in Kreuzberg direkt am Moritzplatz, Prinzessinnenstraße 19-20, 10969 Berlin). Dort wird auf rund 2000qm Platz für Innovation, Kreativität, Events und professionelles Arbeiten geboten. Es gibt WLAN, fixe und flexible Arbeitsplätze, Meetingräume, ein Café und sehr viel Eventspace. Seit 1. April 2009 arbeiten hier rund 200 Freiberufler aus verschiedenen Bereichen: Grafiker, Programmierer, Fotografen, Architekten, Designer, Akademiker, Rechtsanwälte, NGO’s, Übersetzer, Videokünstler, Journalisten und Blogger.

betahaus | is located in Berlin Kreuzberg, a lively part of the city, very close to Berlin Mitte and with good connections to major attractions.

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (train station):
Take S-Bahn 5, 7 or 75 in direction Straußberg Nord (S5), Ahrensfelde (S7) or Wartenberg (S75) and get off at Jannowitzbrücke.

From Tegel Airport:
Take Bus 128 in direction Osloer Straße. Get off at Osloer Straße. Change to Metro Line U8, direction Hermannstraße and get off at Moritzplatz. From there, take the exit to Oranienstraße/Prinzessinenstraße. See the map below for location of the betahaus.
From Schönefeld Airport:
Take the train RE7 in direction Dessau, Hauptbahnhof. Get off at Alexanderpatz. Change to Metro Line U8, direction
Hermannstraße and get off at Moritzplatz. From there, take the exit to Oranienstraße/ Prinzessinenstraße. See the map belowfor location of betahaus.
Alternatively, take S-Bahn 45 in direction Bundesplatz. Get off at Hermannstraße and change to Metro Line U8, direction Wittenau/ Osloer Straße. Get off at Moritzplatz. From there, take the exit to Oranienstraße/Prinzessinenstraße.
From both airports, a taxi ride to Kreuzberg will cost you approximately 30 Euro.
